This is a stunning fall-front writing bureau/secretary bureau. Georgian-inspired piece of furniture, with decorative veneer, brass-style handles and a shaped plinth base. The most distinctive feature is the beautiful fan-like grain on the drawer fronts and writing flap. It gives the piece a beautiful decorative appearance. Features a slanted front that folds down into a writing surface, hiding internal pigeonholes and small compartments, above a four-drawer chest. The writing desk has a striking green leather inlay, and has pull outs at the front to stabilise it. Writing flap is lockable and has the key. A fantastic in very good condition.
