It started simply — a battered chest of drawers found at a car boot sale, a tin of paint and a weekend of work. The transformation was extraordinary, and the feeling of breathing new life into something old was completely addictive.

What began as a hobby quickly became a passion and then a purpose. I realised that so much beautiful vintage furniture was being thrown away or left to rot, simply because it looked tired or dated. With a little love, the right paint and some careful restoration, these pieces could become the focal point of someone's home.

Every piece I work on is chosen because we see potential in it — good bones, beautiful proportions, or an interesting story. I research its history where I can, repair what needs repairing, and then bring it back to life with colour and care.
